The University of Applied Sciences Burgenland has an upright certification of the internal quality management system by the Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria and is therefore a state-recognized university and entitled to set up university courses autonomously. Therefore, these courses do not require any further external accreditation in advance. However, the structures and procedures of quality assurance of the university courses are integrated into the university's internal quality management system, which is regularly checked by the Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria.
